Confidence is Fear

Following is an excerpt from a samvaad (dialogue) session with Acharya Prashant.

Question: What is meant by saying that confidence is fear? And secondly, does it practically help me to know this?

Acharya Prashant: If you really come to understand that confidence is fear, then the question of the application of your understanding becomes redundant.
