In the middle of all change, there is your solid pure being

Anything that tells you that you need to become something else, somebody else, will never be good for you.

We already live fixated to changes. How would it help to change into something else?

We are anyway changing all the time. You are something, you want to change into something better. You want to become something better, somebody better, right? Instead of that, find and see that in middle of all these changes you can still remain changeless. Everything is changing shape. Everything is becoming something else.

In the middle of all this change, all this becoming, all this running, there is your solid pure being, which is unaffected by any becoming.

Now, you can become anything - better, worse, inferior, superior, good, bad, ugly. When you don’t need to become anything, then becoming anything is fun. But drop this assumption of becoming. That may make him a better runner, but that doesn’t make him a better individual. He is of course a better runner, but that doesn’t mean that he is better than you. In running he is better, but he is not as such better than you, you are incomparable.

Never let anything in life become a verdict on your essence. Nobody can pass a judgement on your essence, your core, your reality. So have that sureness, that confidence, deeply it is called faith, have that faith. It’s alright, it’s good.
