The following is an excerpt from a samvaad (dialogue) session with Acharya Prashant.

Acharya Prashant (AP): Whenever something important will happen in your life, whenever you will go through a transformation, it will be total. It will affect every aspect of your living. Your relationships will change; your clothes will change; your food will change; your voice will change; your thoughts will change; even your face will change. If you block any of these from changing, then you will block the transformations also.

In fact, that is why the life of the man devoted to Truth is a very dynamic life. To only one thing is he committed — the Truth. Everything else keeps changing; he is not devoted to anything else. He will not say “Oh, you know, I am committed to you”. “I am committed to Truth. So, for some time our lives may get intertwined.”

Have you seen two creepers, like this, they come close, and for a while, they get twisted together and they again part ways? Because both of them are committed not to each other but to the Truth, to life. They are committed to living. So, they are alright. They said “For some time, our ways crossed each other; for some time, we were together; and then after that, we again parted ways. It is fine.” Committed to Truth, you cannot be committed to anything else. And if these two decide…
