The following is an excerpt from a samvaad (dialogue) session with Acharya Prashant.

Question (Q): Sir, what does the name of the group ‘You belong here’ signify?

Acharya Prashant (AP): The name ‘You Belong Here’ signifies that our real home cannot be at a disturbed point. ‘xyz’ means others and ‘t’ means past and future.

When the mind is free of the conditioning of others and thoughts of the past and future, then one is at home. You Belong Here.

Sitting at the origin, go wherever you want to. Sitting firmly in the present, think freely about the past and future. Just don’t leave the origin.

Keep sitting at the center. And rule the circle.

Q: What does being at zero actually mean?

AP: Being at zero means not being a slave of ‘xyz’ (objects-others) and ‘t’(past-future).

We have defined ourselves as:

P= f(x,y,z,t)

=f(others,past,future)

=f(uncles,aunties, neighbors, friends, known people, unknown people, media, rumours, all history, so much future)

We don’t define ourselves as

I=f(I)=I
